Krystal Marie Ball

 Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24 January 1981) is an American political commentator. She was previously a political candidate and an anchor on television at MSNBC as well as a regular contributor to The Huffington Post and former co-host of the show The Hill's Rising together with Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball have announced that they will leave the show in May 2021 to launch Breaking Points, a new independent project with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is a cohost of the show Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has been a guest on Fox News, CNN, Fox News, Fox News, Fox News, as well as programs like Real Time With Bill Maher. Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani since 2020. Ball attributes her interest in politics due to the fact that she became a mom during the 2008 primary elections, and was also able to be able to watch the US presidential election results while in Jordan. She saw the effects it had on citizens of her home country and was moved to see the global impact of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st congressional district during the election of 2010, but lost to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. From June 2012 until July 2015, she hosted of The Cycle on MSNBC. In May 2017, she launched the People's House Project, a political action committee working for Democratic causes.
