Kyra Minturn

 Kyraminturn Sedgwick was born on August 19, 1965. She is an American actor and producer. Her most famous character is that of Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, on TNT's crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick received the Golden Globe Award in 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson and an Emmy Award 2010 for her portrayal. The seventh season of the series ended on the 13th of August 2012. Sedgwick's role as Madeline Wuntch in the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine is also noteworthy. Sedgwick received an Golden Globe nomination for her performance as Madeline Wuntch in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's other roles in films include Oliver Stone's Born of the Fourth of July (1989) and Cameron Crowe's The Ones (1992), Heart and Souls-1993), Phenomenon (1996), What's Cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2013). Sedgwick is the daughter Patricia Rosenwald who is an educator therapy for families, a venture capitalist as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VII Speech therapist. Her mother was Jewish. Her dad was Episcopalian of English descent. Sedgwick identifies herself as Jewish and has claimed that she attends at Passover seders.
