Maria Elena Bello
Maria Elena Bello, born April 18, 1967 in the United States is an actress and producer as well as writer and director. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly ((2000), The Cooler (3), A History of Violence (2004), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2009), Grown Ups (2010) and Prisoners (2013) were a few of her films. Bello was a prominent figure on TV as Dr. Anna Del Amico in the medical drama ER (1997-1998) and with other roles that were starring, like Michelle McBride in the first season (2016) of Goliath and Jacqueline Sloane as a Special Agent on NCIS from 2017 to 2021. Bello was born April 18 1967 in Norristown Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of Kathy Bello, a nurse at school and teacher and Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She was raised in a middle-class, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. Bello studied political sciences at Villanova University. Bello continued her training in acting by participating in several New York theater productions after she graduated. Bello has a son Jackson with her former partner Dan McDermott. In November 2013, Bello wrote about her first partner Clare Munn's same-sex relationship. The book she wrote was published.
